In a new development, Bowdon Sertoma has entered an arrangement with the Townsend Center of the University of West Georgia to handle Sertoma concert ticket sales. Both Townsend Center director Robert Jennings and Bowdon Sertoma Club president G.W. Rogers believe having tickets available online, as well as telephone and walk-up sales, will serve the community and concert patrons much more efficiently.
Concert customers will now be able to access an interactive diagram of Copeland Hall seats and literally choose their reserved seats for concerts.
Internet users can find information about shows and a link that takes them to the electronic ticket booth.
A diagram of the seats in Copeland Hall will be displayed and allow the customer to choose their own reserved seats and purchase with a Visa or MasterCard. Telephone orders will be accepted at 678-839-4722.
Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Townsend Center box office Monday through Friday from 9 am– 4:30 pm. The customer may specify to have the tickets mailed or held at the Copeland Hall box office.
“We believe this convenient new service will meet the needs of our patrons who have been asking for the ability to buy tickets on the Internet,” said Rogers. “Now customers who are not season ticket holders will be able to choose their seats for both current and future shows and purchase with a credit or debit card.”
In more news, the club announces the addition of an extra show on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Comedian James Gregory will appear at 7:00 PM in a benefit performance sponsored by Sertoma for KidsPeace in Bowdon. Gregory has appeared in Bowdon three times before and always sells out Copeland Hall. Tickets are available now at a price of $20 for reserved seats. Season ticket holders and sponsors are reminded that this show is an extra show and is not a part of their season ticket package. Tickets are available online or by phone at 678-839-4722.
